Because it’s not just baths and scented candles that go into giving yourself a break. There are actually four dimensions of self care that work together to bring you mental wellness.

- Psychological (Mind)
Why is it Important to Care for Your Self Care?
Because each of these 4 dimensions work together to make you emotionally healthy. If one of them is lacking, the rest will suffer.
For example if you’re diligently exercising your body but neglecting emotional and psychological care it’s much more likely for you to burn out. I know it’s a lot harder for me to exercise if my heart’s just not in it.
You could be doing lots of emotional health but letting physical health go by the wayside.
You can even be doing too much of one type (i.e. focusing so hard on one dimension that there’s no room for any other kind).
